A James Beard winning Director with over a decade of experience in food video. He was one of the founding video producers at the online food magazine CHOW (owned by CBS), where he was nominated for 2 James Beard Awards, a Webby, and a Daytime Emmy. After CHOW, he created content for book publishers like Chronicle Books and 10 Speed Press, food incubators and startups in the Bay Area.
Most recently, he came on Day 1 as the Creative Director for the startup, Tastemade. In 2 years, he established and defined their voice and visual identity, created hundred of videos that garnered over 30 million views, and won a James Beard Award for his original series, Thirsty For. He's been running HIATUS since 2015.
